Parents' Association

The HPA is a friendly group of parents with several aims - to raise money to fund equipment and items for the school which will benefit our children and to organise social occasions for both parents, children and families. This year we have been focusing on raising funds for our drama productions. Stage lighting has already been installed and new curtains are on their way. We have also funded a new reading scheme for early readers as well as IT software and additional classroom equipment.

Events  include:
After School Film Club
Halloween Party
Children's Fashion Show
Christmas Market
Race Night
Family BBQ
Charity coffee mornings
Summer Garden Party
Quiz Night

HS-Christmas-2013.jpgThe events are always great fun and the children look forward to the parties especially. It's very rewarding seeing the delight on their faces when they have been visited by Father Christmas or spooked in the terror tunnel at Halloween! We always welcome new members to the committee - the HPA meets usually once per half term at the Jolly Farmer Cookham Dean. Dates are printed on the school calendar and reminders noted on the weekly school newsletter. Even if you are unable to attend a meeting but would like to help out, or you have an idea for fundraising or social events, we would still love to hear from you. Please do get in touch with one of us via the school office for any further information.

The HPA is a very friendly and enthusiastic group where new members are always very welcome. It is a great way for new parents to meet new friends and get involved in some very exciting and unusual events.HPA-event-12.JPG
